Investigation into flipped car near Knuzden

The scene of the crash
POLICE are investigating whether a car that overturned in Haslingden Old Road was stolen.
The black Renault Megane flipped over at around 12.30pm on Saturday near Knuzden Brook and a witness reported seeing a man and child leaving the scene.
The vehicle had a banner inside which suggested it had either recently been purchased or was on a test drive. Fire crews were initially called to the scene to assist any casualties.
Watch manager Steve Barnes said: “When we arrived nobody was in the vehicle so we then helped make the scene safe.”
