A GIANT ear will be at an Oswaldtwistle primary school as part of an educational fun day.

Deafness Research UK will take its Bionic Ear Show to Moor End Community Primary School on Tuesday.

The show is aimed at delivering fun, interactive performances designed to emphasise the importance of ear protection.

Sponsored by BUPA and the Big Lottery Fund, the show is presented by former teacher Tobin May who employs a variety of techniques and activities to get the healthy hearing message across.

It includes a 22ft long display explaining how the ear works plus group activities like ‘guess that tune’.
