TENANTS in an Oswaldtwistle retirement home said a fond farewell to workmen who carried out repairs on the estate.
Over the past four months, a team of electricians, plumbers, joiners and two apprentices have been updating the properties of 25 Hyndburn Homes tenants on the White Ash estate.
The tenants got the chance to say thank-you at a leaving party there.
The team replaced out-of-date kitchens and bathrooms in tenants’ homes with modern versions.
