NAIL and beauty therapy students from Accrington and Rossendale College are celebrating after scooping six trophies from the Professional Beauty North exhibition.
Winners included staff member Carrie Allen, who rook first place in salon nail, and second place in boxed nail art.
Students Sarah McBride, Olivia Waywell, and Hannah Connelly, took first, second and third prizes in the student manicure award, and Fakhra Rafiq took third place in tip and overlay.
Ruth Travis, nail programme leader and beauty therapy lecturer said: “These competitions attract people from all over the world, so the standard is very high and it is a prestigious title achieve.
“To win six trophies was amazing, but not surprising, given the amount of talent we have and the hard work put in.”
