HEALTH bosses have urged people who think they be suffering from stress to speak up and get some help.

The message from Blackburn with Darwen and East Lancashire CCG chiefs ahead of Stress Awareness Month in April.

Stress is called the 'silent killer' as it can contribute to raised blood pressure, heart disease and stroke.

Dr Rakesh Sharma, clinical lead at East Lancashire CCG, said: " If you feel you might need help and support, speak to your friends, family or colleagues – or make an appointment with your GP.”
