PEOPLE in the North West have been asked to unite with thousands of others across the UK and step closer to a cure for Parkinson’s.
Parkinson’s UK will launch ‘Walk for Parkinson’s 2018’ today and the charity has invited people of all ages and abilities to sign up to a walk near them.
Walks in the North West include Calder Valley on Sunday, June 24, which is a new location for 2018, and Chester on Sunday, September 23.
Last year’s ‘Walk for Parkinson’s’ series had more than 4,300 people sign up to walk and between them they raised £417,700.
Parkinson’s is a disease that impacts every aspect of someone’s life.
