A CHARITY fun run has raised vital funds for a hospice.
The 'Annual Hurst Green Turkey Trott' on December 16 saw over 400 runners complete the five-mile fun run, most of which in fancy dress, to raise money for Pendleside Hospice.
The hospice fundraises to provide hospice care for Burnley and Pendle people diagnosed with cancer and other life limiting-illnesses.
On the day donations were made by runners and spectators and a generous donation of £520 was given to event photographer David Belshaw to forward on to Pendleside Hospice.
Pendleside Hospice fundraiser Sammi Graham said: “We can’t thank David enough for all his support.
"The vital funds raised by him will help Pendleside in continuing to provide care to the people in our local community who need Hospice support."
