MILITARY veterans have been offered support ahead of Bonfire Night.
Ex-service personnel in Lancashire who are affected by fireworks and struggling with their mental health can seek help from the Lancashire Military Veterans’ Service, which is run by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Health bosses said bright flashes and loud bangs from Bonfire Night can trigger ‘extreme service related trauma and distress’ including flashbacks to their time within the service.
