PEOPLE have been encouraged to look out for signs of Alzheimer’s.
NHS Blackburn with Darwen and East Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) have asked residents to keep an eye out for the symptoms of Alzheimer’s, the most common cause of dementia.
Residents living with Alzheimer’s can be scared, confused and lonely and health chiefs said it is therefore essential to spot the early symptoms to help those suffering access help and support as soon as possible.
The message comes as World Alzheimer’s Month takes place during September to raise awareness.
