A HEALTH watchdog is set to embark on a project gathering the views and experiences of people visiting A&E at an East Lancashire hospital.
The project will seek to understand residents expectations and discover what their journey is like from admission through to discharge at the Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital.
Sir Bill Taylor, chair of Healthwatch Blackburn with Darwen, who are running the project, said: “Our work will find out what works at our A&E and what should be improved.
“We’d like citizens to engage with this.”
Healthwatch will be based in A&E on a weekly basis until the end of January.
If you have recently visited A&E and wish to feedback on your experience, people can contact Healthwatch BwD on 01254 296080 or email info@healthwatchbwd.co.uk.
