MACMILLAN Cancer Support’s new mobile information and support team will be in Lancashire visiting markets this month.
The new Mobile Information and Support (MISS) team will be providing free sun awareness and cancer advice.
The mobile team will also provide information and answer questions about reducing the risks or signs and symptoms of cancer.
The team will visit Blackburn Market in Church Street on Thursday, August 24, while they will make a trip to Burnley Market in Curzon Street on Saturday, August 26, with both visits between 9am and 5pm.
Lucy Rogers, Team Lead for Macmillan’s North West Mobile Service, said: “Macmillan is committed to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer in the North West, which is why we have launched a dedicated mobile information and support team in the North West.
