GROUPS have teamed up to raise awareness of Hepatitis in East Lancashire.
With World Hepatitis Day observed today, Inspire and G02, who provide a drug and alcohol service in Blackburn and Darwen, have teamed up with community group One Voice to raise awareness of the liver condition.
Other organisations involved include Buncer Lane Pharmacy, Elite Gym, Forecourt Pharmacy and Witton Pharmacy, who have agreed to provide a sign posting service for customers requiring services from Inspire or GO2.
The 'Friends of the Service' (as the group will be known) will raise awareness of Hepatitis, which involves the inflammation of the liver, as it is closely linked to drug use.
