How about using that money and put more playing fields and invest in schools and the hospital? Accrington isnt Leeds or Manchester, its Accy. We could do so much more with this money than building luxury appartments for snobby folk.

When the builders go bust leaving a wheelbarrow and a broken cement mixer the flats in Manchester, Leeds, Bradford etc will be auctioned off and bought by Housing Associations who will then fill them with the Not Rights.

Rather than Globe centre investing over there why can't they help the council to make the town centre better!
Atleast we will not have to go elsewhere and shop.

Hey centuar, you live abroad,sounds like the best place for you,houses are still selling fast in some parts of the town,the investment coming to Acc is MASSIVE,i know i deal with clients lining up, Accrington`s going to be big just watch this town grow and grow.

I've been watching that space for 60 years and it's still going downhill. As for living abroad....just ask the 4.5 million who have got out of the UK in then last 10 years!! I'm glad that you are staying...somebody has to watch it grow!!
Use to be a really nice little town with genuine prople. Unfortunately its not safe to go out at nights any more!
