A Blackburn man caught red handed during a burglary has been sent to prison - as he requested.
Preston Crown Court was told that when Lee Holden was detained at the address in Ashertton Road, he said: "Take me back to jail."
Holden, 31, of Oban Drive, had been committed for sentence after admitting burglary with intent to steal.

He also asked for five other offences to be taken into consideration, involving burgla-ries of garages and one at a market stall involving £660 worth of goods between February 22 and March 23.
He was jailed for a year.
Mr Macro said Holden had 53 previous convictions for 75 offences, mostly for dishonesty.
John Woodward, defending, said Holden had an appalling record and began experi-menting with drugs at 11.
The death of his mother on New Year's Eve last year devastated him and he turned back to drugs and that was something he regretted, the court was told.
