Stephen Jackson was given a 12-month jail term when he appeared for sentencing at Crown Court.
The 29-year-old, of Manxman Road, Blackburn, had pleaded guilty to attempting to pervert the course of justice, driving while disqualified and not having insurance.

The court heard that he had nine previous convictions for driving when banned.
Miss Emma Kehoe, prosecuting, said it was March last year when two police officers on mobile patrol stopped a vehicle in Stansfield Street, Blackburn.
The driver identified himself as Gary Jackson and provided a date of birth and address as well.
The defendant signed a fixed penalty notice in that name. Before he was allowed to go on his way, a fingeprint was taken from him.
Court proceedings began when the fixed penalty notice was not complied with.
Miss Kehoe said the case was set down for trial last November, but before then the fingerprint was identified as Stephen Jackson's.
