THE Bishop of Blackburn, the Rt Rev Nicholas Reade, will today call for a sea change' in attitudes towards climate change, to avoid an environmental nightmare'.
The Bishop, in Guernsey to preach at the 63rd Liberation Day service marking the end of Nazi occupation in the Channel Islands, will say future society faces a death sentence' unless despondency and indifference are transformed into hope.
The Bishop will quote Mori Poll statistics showing collective concern about climate change, but individual reluctance to respond.

He said: "Perhaps we all feel there's nothing we can do? I don't believe that's a reasonable, and certainly not a Christian response."
He will cite his call for a Green Year' in Lancashire, where all 230 Church of England parishes have been called to pray, and respond practically, to "threats facing the world God has loaned to us", and call on the people of Guernsey to do the same.
Perhaps instead of blindly following the myth of climate change (as he no doubt follows the myth of religion) he would do well to read The Manhattan Declaration on climate change and global warming. What? Never heard of it? I thought as much!

Woah woah, settle down Rev. That film "flood" that was on TV was fictional. Anyway, what good is praying gonna do? God isnt gonna save us when those ignorant pr*cks in America wont sign the kyoto agreement. ( Is it any wonder everyone hates Americans?)

Maybe the bish can encourage the CofE to take the lead.
The CofE spends £5,000 a WEEK on heating for a church nearby that nobody goes to.
Develop a global warming conscience and stop spending so much money on fossil fuels heating empty buildings, for starters.
Still, leading by example is alwayss going to be difficult if your job/life involves following and perpetuating indoctrination.

Just what we need - religion combining with fraudster Gore.
No doubt the eventual outcome will be a burning at the stake for those who question the climate change fashionistas. Gordon Brown will be happy to have the Church on board - will give credibility to his fake eco taxes.
jcb makes a good point - check it out before parroting the accepted (by all the people who want to control your life) view of climate change.
