A STRETCH of river has a had a spring clean after a sports club carried out a litter pick.
Members of the Mitre Angling Club organised the event over the weekend on the banks of the River Calder at Shuttleworth Mead, Padiham.
The club hired a skip and volunteers collected rubbish from the water as well as the from the river banks.
