YEAR six pupils from Edenfield CE Primary School swapped their classroom for a bus yesterday to help them with their transition to high school in September.
Twenty two pupils caught the X44, The Witch Way bus to Manchester to visit the science museum.
The trip was organised to help the children get used to travelling on a bus for when they start high school in September as many of them are not used to bus travel.
Deputy head Joan Black, said: “They are going to senior school and it is important that they have had the experience of travelling by bus before they start at their new schools.”
