Holy Cross Catholic High School’s Year Sevens had to be bright for their Wake Up Shake Up! Day.

The students were asked to don brightly coloured tutus, sweat bands and wigs.

They collected sponsors and also donated £1 each to participate.

It’s one of a number of fundraising events that the Year Sevens at the Chorley school have been involved in as they raise money for Macmillan Cancer and Nugent Care over the year.

“ They’re really doing their school and local community proud ,” said Head of Year Seven Gemma Hardy.
