INTREPID explorers are now being recruited for an expedition to Africa.
Burnley FC in the Community (BFCC) is teaming up with African Adventures for a week-long mission to rural south-east Ghana later this year.
Not only will the October trip support the African charity’s work in Woe, a coastal area of the West African nation but it will support the football organisation’s work for people with learning and physical disabilities.
An information day is being planned in the Brian Miller Suite at Turf Moor on Monday, April 28, from 5.30pm, with those interested asked to report to the Bob Lord Stand reception. People can confirm attendance by e-mailing m.hargreaves@burnleyfc.com or calling 01282 704716.
Volunteers aged under 16 would need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, with the trip set to start on October 26.
