STAFF at an East Lancashire school have received vital fire safety training online, using a unique new package.
Independent safety experts Safety Management (UK) offers web-based training that gives busy teaching staff the flexible approach they need so as not to disrupt teaching and planning time.
More and more schools across the UK are following the lesson of Langho and Billington St Leonard's CofE Primary School and are using the online approach for successful and cost-effective staff training.
Safety Management (UK) managing director Brian Gregory said: “Our online training is becoming more and more popular with schools as their staff face increasing constraints and pressure on their time.
"It allows staff to carry out the training in a flexible way, when it suits them and it can be fitted in and around their curriculum work.”
