TURTON Tower is holding a special event from 3pm on Tuesday to mark this year's British Tourism Week.
Visitors will be able to meet the Tower's special guests, who will include the historic Tudor Lord of the Manor, William Orrell, and his steward Alexander.
There will also be the chance for visitors to pick up a copy of Lancashire Museum's new Historic Wonders booklet. The free pocket-sized booklet gives visitors an insight into Lancashire's past and helps them discover the stories behind the county, bursting with history.
