SUMMER TRADITION: Welly throwing champion James Barlow, 14, tosses his final boot during the competition
VILLAGERS enjoyed the summer sunshine at the annual Tockholes Gala on Saturday.
There were dozens of stalls, while the Bolton Brass Band entertained the crowds.
The Bolton Mountain Rescue Team were the charity beneficiaries.
The event showcased the team’s specialist vehicles and equipment and donations raised more than £270 for the team.
