THE man found hanging from a tree at a Darwen beauty spot has been named as 59-year-old Paul Eyles.
Mr Eyles, who is from the Darwen area, was discovered by a walker at Entwistle and Turton Reservoir, off Batridge Road, at 7.10am on Sunday.
Police are treating the incident as a suspected suicide as there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Detective Sergeant Ian Geogarty, of Darwen CID, said: “The reservoir is a remote rural location, heavily popular at weekends.”
