A ROBBER escaped with cash after a village store was raided.
A man walked into the post office on Queen's Square, Hoddlesden and demanded cash at 4.15pm today, before escaping on foot.
Police have not confirmed whether he was armed, or how much money was stolen.
A man was arrested nearby shortly afterwards, but investigations are continuing.
Nobody was hurt in the raid.
