aTHE final weigh-in takes place today after a group of people pledged to lose a stone for Sam Shaw.
The Hoddlesden four-year-old was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in January, and his family are raising £250,000 to take him for immunotherapy treatment in the US.
Darrener Rebecca Sumner decided to use Sam’s plight as inspiration to lose weight, launching a Facebook and Just Giving page online on Monday, June 24. She gathered a team of fellow fundraisers and they have spent the past few weeks losing weight.
