RESIDENTS have the chance to take part in a quiz to mark Darwen Library's centenary.
Blackburn with Darwen Council has organised the celebratory quiz which has a top prize of £100 plus £50 for the runner-up and £25 for third place.
Anyone who enters the quiz must answer 100 questions made up from 10 categories.
It is one of a number of events organised by the council to mark the library's 100th birthday.
There will also be a Down Memory Lane event, an exhibition of images and artefacts reflecting the library's history, a civic opening ceremony on May 27 and heritage walks.
Entries must be returned to Darwen Library by May 31 and the winners will be chosen shortly afterwards.
Anyone stuggling for answers can visit Blackburn with Darwen Council's online resources for help. Visit www.blackburn.gov.uk/ libraries.
