Dates set for next PACT meetings

DECEMBER'S police and community together (PACT) meetings for Darwen and surrounding areas have been announced.

Avondale, Hollins Grove, Birch Hall, Anchor and Lower Darwen residents can attend a meeting at Earcroft Children's Centre, Monton Road, at 6.30pm on December 5.

The next Darwen South meeting which covers Redearth, Priory, Spring Vale and Whitehall is being held on December 5 at St Peter's School, Turncroft Road, at 6.45pm.

Residents in Edgworth and Turton can attend a meeting in the Edgworth and Turton Primary School at 6pm on December 4 and those in St James and Sudellside can go along to Sudellside Community Centre at 11am on December 3.

The Barlow Institute in Edgworth holds PACT meeting every Wednesday at 10am Mini surgeries will also take place at Sainsbury's in Darwen from 1pm to 2pm on December 3 and 1pm to 2pm on December 8 at Darwen Market.
