TURTON Belmont Primary School has won glowing praise from Government inspectors.
The school, which comes under Blackburn with Darwen Council's authority, has been deemed "good with outstanding features" by Ofsted.
Following a visit last month, inspectors desc-ribed the Ryecroft Lane school as having "a very warm friendly atmosphere in which pupils are very well cared for and their individual talents rec-ognised and developed."
The report adds: "This caring school has been highly successful in creating an environment where pupils feel secure and learning flourishes."
Children love coming to school, which is reflected in above average attendance, it said.
