DARWEN MP Jake Berry is supporting a scheme to see more young people become good citizens.
The National Citizen Service is a scheme for 16-year-olds first proposed by David Cameron in 2005 which brings together teenagers from different backgrounds in the summer after they have taken their GCSEs.
Mr Berry said: “It is a fantastic idea and I hope that eventually all children will be able to benefit.”
