FIVE-YEAR-OLD Madison Allan, who has cancer, belatedly celebrated her birthday yesterday surrounded by more than 50 friends.
Madison, of Lower Darwen, was too ill to celebrate her birthday in September and was in hospital over Christmas and New Year after chemotherapy to treat a large tumour in her stomach.
Yesterday she was well enough to attend a special party at Top Bananas, in Darwen.
Among the guests were actor Scott Wright, pictured above with Madison and her one-year-old sister Scarlett, and parents Mark and Samantha.
And next month nine Coronation Street stars are starring in a special variety night at the Thwaites Theatre, Ewood, to raise cash to send Madison to Eurodisney, near Paris.
