BLACKBURN with Darwen Council chief executive Harry Catherall has been caught on camera lining up for Sunday's Great Manchester Run.
This year's event commemorated last years Arena bombing,
The 55-year-old completed the 13-mile charity half marathon in one hour and 40 minutes raising cash for Age UK Blackburn with Darwen.
Mr Catherall was representing the Blackburn Road Runners Club.
He tweeted out: "I've been send this picture showing me today, start line of the Great Manchester Half Marathon.
"Sky TV coverage of the poignant minute as we approach 1st anniversary of the Manchester Arena Terror Attack. Happy to represent @bbroadrunners as well as raising money for @AgeUKBwD."
Mr Catherall was joined in the run by the council's head of communications Andrea Sturgess and multi-media officer Paul Cooper,
