A retelling of Little Red Riding Hood will take place next month.

The much-loved story has been re-invented as a playful pantomime for little ones this February at Darwen Library Theatre .

Produced by Moon On A Stick, the performance will combine enchanting puppetry and absorbing storytelling with traditional pantomime elements in a gentle, imaginative show designed especially for young audience members.

The story will follow the courageous Little Red through the forest to her grandmother's house.

With the help of the audience, Little Red must find her way through the trees to deliver her food parcel to grandma along with her trusty friend Sneezy Fox.

The performance will include live music and audience interaction.

Puppetry Theatre Company, Moon On A Stick, mix charming storytelling and side-splitting comedy to tell a story of bravery, friendship and overcoming all the odds.

The fun fairy tail will be the perfect introduction to panto for children aged three and over.

The production is specially adapted to be suitable to children with special educational needs and autism, as well as other sensitivities.
