A PRODUCTION company has made a film about a woman who opens up her home and makes strangers dinner.
Maria Grieco, of Thompson Street, Darwen advertises her culinary talents online and invites strangers to join her for dinner parties in a bid to raise money for charity.
Ms Grieco widely advertises her dinner parties on the WeFiFo website in the hope that she can encourage the whole town to eat more socially.
Jonathan Robinson managing director of Bellyflop.tv, a Rossendale based production company, intrigued by the idea, got in touch with the 51-year-old host about filming one of her dinners.
Mr Robinson attended and filmed the dinner, he said: “I was curious about the idea and instantly wanted to meet Maria. It was a great opportunity to film and it certainly was an eventful night at Dinner@Maria’s.”
The film was shared on Rossendale Hour, a weekly hour-long Twitter session hosted by Mr Robinson where businesses and communities of Rossendale can share their love for the area.
