TWO teenagers have been using their design skills to create logo ideas for a new housing scheme being built in Darwen.
Emma Langton and Aziz Ali, A level students from Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio, were given a brief for the Riverside Heights housing with care scheme.
Emma said: "We began by researching local landmarks around Darwen – the hills and the Tower that everyone recognises.
"Then we looked at lots of different fonts to decide what would be suitable for this housing project."
Aziz said: "We have a lot of commissions from outside school that students lead on.
"I worked with Emma on this project as we’re good friends.
"We did various versions and experimented with different ideas. It’s been good to get feedback from Together Housing."
The logo ideas for Riverside Heights created by Emma and Aziz will now be developed by Together Housing’s designer.
