A LARGE tree had collapsed from Corporation Park onto the adjacent road.
Police advised motorists to use alternative routes after a large trunk fell onto East Park Road, Blackburn, at around 5pm.
The road was closed but after Blackburn with Darwen Council staff cut the large branch into pieces, it is set up reopen at 9pm.
