CHILDREN can enjoy a fun-filled day at Darwen Market on Saturday (July 8).
The ‘Pirates and Mermaids’ event will be a chance for kids to see a real-life mermaid, meet Captain Jack and win prizes.
There will also be face painting, water zorbing and a bouncy castle to keep all ages of children entertained.
The free event takes place at the market in Croft Street between 10pm and 4pm.
