POLICE were at the scene of an accident in Darwen, last night
It is thought to have involved three or four cars.
Andrew Wilson, who witnessed the aftermath, said the cars look like they are a 'write off' after the incident in Pole Lane at around 7pm.
He said there were also a number of police vehicles there.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said three cars were involved in the incident - a white Honda, silver Alfa Romeo and a Peugeot Activ – near the junction of Grimshaw Street and Pole Lane.
Paramedics were called to the scene and treated one of those involved for an arm injury, while two others were left in shock, as a result of the collision.
