THE line-up for the Darwen Library Theatre stages at one of the town’s biggest events has been confirmed.

The Knott Street venue will be one of several across the town which will welcome musicians for Darwen Live, taking place from Sunday, May 28, to Monday, May 29.

On the Sunday students from the Darwen School of Music will kick things off on the auditorium stage at 1pm followed by performances from The Johnny Oates Band, Bramble Napskins, The Soul Train and Pink Floyd Tribute act Iron Bell.

On the acoustic stage that day will be Henry Parker, Steven Warwick, The Strands, Chris Flynn and CJay.

Merry Hell, The Transmitters and Skyeladder will all make appearances on the Monday from 1pm on the auditorium stage.

On the acoustic stage, Rachel Toner, Anthony Bentley and Sam ‘n’ Ella will all be performing from 2.40pm.
