TICKETS are still available for a high school musical production.

Darwen Vale High School will be putting on a performance of Chicago later this month for three nights.

The American musical is set in Prohibition-era Chicago and is based on a 1926 play of the same name by reporter Maurine Dallas Watkins about actual criminals and crimes she reported on.

Drama teacher Leona Parkinson said: “We still have tickets available for all three nights and we would love people from Darwen to come along and see what we have done with the show.

“The cast have been working incredibly hard on the songs and ensuring they are perfect for their audiences."

Rehearsals have been at lunch, after school and weekends."

The show will be on at the Blackburn Road school on March 28, 29 and 30.
