AN optical business has secured a place on the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies List.
The Hakim Group, based in Darwen, made it onto the list at the same time as being awarded the highest three-star rating from Best Companies, the employee engagement specialists.
The company received the recognition after achieving a high score on the Best Companies survey, which examined the ins-and-outs of life in the business.
A philosophy of the business, called Find Inner Self-Happiness (FISH), was the main aspect which secured the accolades.
Dr Imran Hakim, founder and chief executive, said: “This fantastic award is an achievement that belongs to every one of our colleagues working across the group.
“It celebrates the unique, vibrant and fun loving culture that each of them has helped to create.
“We truly believe that our revolutionary FISH philosophy is unrivalled within the industry."
