A MAN and a woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man suffered serious stab wounds have been released with no charge.
Police said they were called by the ambulance service to a report of a stabbing at a terraced house in Olive Lane, Darwen on June 9.

Neighbours described the stab victim emerging ‘covered head to foot in blood’ from the terraced house on a stretcher carried by paramedics.
Officers said a 33-year-old man was taken by the air ambulance to the Royal Preston Hospital suffering from wounds to his chest and abdomen.
He has since been released from hospital and is believed to have no long-term health issues.
A 25-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, both from Bury, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder but they have both since been released.
