A DARWEN woman has been missing from her home since last Wednesday and police are keen for information on her whereabouts.

Gemma Louise Mason, 30, who sometimes uses the surname Wells, went missing on Wednesday evening after she was last seen by a family member in Sandringham Road at around 8.30pm.

She is believed to be in the company of a man in his twenties and was seen wearing a cream jumper, dark grey skinny jeans and a black leather jacket.

She has been described as having blonde hair which she often wears in a ponytail, is of slim build and wears glasses.

She also has a tattoo on the right side of her neck of Roman numerals as well as tattoos on her arm and foot.

Sgt Jill Maltman from Blackburn Police said: “We are concerned for Gemma’s welfare because she hasn’t been seen for a few days now.

“We think she is still possibly in the Darwen area and I urge anyone who has seen her or knows where she is to get in touch.

“Similarly, if Gemma herself sees this appeal, I would ask her to get in contact with us or a family member so we know she is safe and well."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
