AN ARSON investigation has been launched after a building was deliberately set on fire in Darwen this morning.
The incident happened at the derelict Mayfield House in Tockholes Road at 6am.

Two fire engines from Darwen and one from Blackburn attended the fire.
Crews used two hosereel jets and three higher-output jets to extinguish it, and a portable fan unit to divert the smoke and heat.
Nobody was injured and the police have been notified.
