FOUR vehicles were involved in a rush-hour collision on the M65 last night - causing traffic chaos in Blackburn.
Town firefighters were alerted to a crash just after 5pm between junction three at Brinscall and junction four for Darwen.

Watch manager Pete Derbyshire said: “On arrival at the incident it was clear that several vehicles had been involved.
“Two vehicles had been made safe before our arrival but a further two had been more heavily involved.”
Firefighters worked with paramedics and were assisted by a crew from Darwen station to remove drivers from two of the cars.
One woman is said to have been taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for further checks. And two more men, who had initially been treated for minor injuries at the roadside, were also later transferred to hospital.
Another fire crew from Bamber Bridge station was drafted in because of the high volume of emergency calls regarding the incident but firefighters from there were released prior to their arrival.
Roads around Blackburn were jammed, including Preston New Road and Burnley Road, as drivers sought alternative routes across the area.
