Hosty admitted to theft from the Co-op
JOHN Michael Hosty, 41, of Lomax Street, Darwen, who stole six packs of steak worth £20 told police he had cooked them straight away at home because he was starving.
Hosty admitted to theft from the Co-op, Blackburn Road. He was given a six-month conditional discharge and must pay £20 compensation, £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
