A SNEAK preview of what to expect at this year’s Edinburgh Festival is set to be given to comedy fans in Darwen tomorrow at the Library Theatre.
James Acaster, who has appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Eight Out Of 10 Cats, will be trialling titbits from his new Represent show ahead of the Scottish spectacular.
And with a pedigree which includes three straight nominations for Best Show at the festival and Best Show and Best Breakthrough gongs at the Chortle Awards, his latest offerings are eagerly anticipated.
Accompanying him on stage at the venue will be Gein’s Family Gift Shop. said to be a in a similar vein to the League of Gentlemen, and winners of the Best Newcomer tag at the Chortle Awards and were named as an Edinburgh best newcomer hopeful.
