SIX new planning applications have been registered with the borough council in the last 14 days, including a new shop front and house in the grounds of a residential property.
Higher Aushaw Farm on Roman Road, Eccleshill, is the site of a proposal to demolish an existing garage, porch and conservatory to be replaced with a two-storey extension and a single-storey lean-to kitchen. Roosters Chicken on Borough Road has put forward a proposal for a replacement shop front and roller shutters, including a replacement access door.
Tower Road Business Park proposes a plan for a Portakabin to be positioned on existing concrete hardstanding and to be used as office. A house to be built on land at ‘Newlands’ on Manor Road, a plan for a new porch in Eccleshill Gardens, Hoddlesden, and a single-storey rear extension in Beech Grove are also proposed.
