A FITNESS class involving three different aerobic workouts takes place every Sunday at Darwen Leisure Centre.

The session, which runs from 11am until noon, involves three sections of workout, each 20 minutes long.

The 20 20 20 session is a mixture of cardiovascular and resistance exercises designed to target every muscle group in the body. The classes usually consist of cycling, resistance work and cardio.

The classes are aimed at drastically improving participants’ cardiovascular fitness as well as helping to tone the body.

Anybody taking part should wear trainers and comfortable clothing suitable for indoor classes.

A spokesman said: “This class is suitable for anyone over 16.

“Advance booking is highly recommended.”
