FIREFIGHTERS have been called back out to a Darwen takeaway damaged by a 'severe' blaze.
Crews were called to Tasty Village in Bolton Road at around 12.40am on Friday to the inferno.
And they were called out again at around 12.10pm today to put out smouldering rubbish at the back.
A spokesman for Darwen Fire Station said it was likely workers had been clearing out debris from inside the takeaway, some of which remained alight.
Firefighters used a hosereel jet to put out the fire, and used a portable fan to remove smoke from the premises.
An investigation into Friday's fire remains ongoing.
